It's really fascinating that every 10 years somebody enters their 30s and starts leading people in their twenties. They transfer to them knowledge on how to keep things going for the rest of the world. This vertical transfer of information is the substrate for increasing human intelligence. The transfer acts like a relay race where one runner hands the baton to the other, only this race is infinite.
