America, and other Individualism striving civilizations, need to become the place not of liberal or conservative values so much as the country of memetic-free innovative individualism, industry, and voluntary cooperation without a consequence to us in the work place and our personal beliefs, healthy or not, angry or not, humane for not. Low sophisticated strategies risk blow back by focusing on peer pressure and consequences for our actions; they focus on the Tat as a response to the Tit. A wiser strategy is to focus on giving honey instead of vinegar in response to their bad behavior. We are taught as children we should not reward bad behavior. This view is wrong. We should overwhelm bad behavior with kindness.

Game Theory 101: We will take some hits but after a while the other partner in small closed systems starts to become unambiguously the "bad guy" in group dynamics when we show them love while they defect in the Prisoner's Dilemma or Stag Hunt model. When they are unambiguously the bad guy, there is no saving face for both sides through mutual apologies. Mutual apologies are bad. It should be made black and white who is the bad guy, to point the finger at one person and say because of you and you alone, we are in this situation. This clarity is good for solving problems. The way to get there is to let them hurt you and then lean in with more kindness.

Make it clear who is to blame. Isolate them from the group by sacrificing yourself and leaning into it. Be strong enough for it by knowing you are playing a game and not genuine with them. This either results in peer pressure on them to want to change their behavior from guilt, or it alienates them as a dark triad-trait-displaying person. Still, clarity is achieved. Clarity is necessary for a harmonious and high-trust society. Now, with this blueprint alternative to how we build norms in a society, lets talk about the future of America. See presentation on Game Theory at this link.

The American Identity: For many of us we are the Mandalorians of Earth. If that is not our expectation, that we want to live in a more soft country, there are other choices with more timid national cultures, but not in America: not yesterday, not today, and not tomorrow, in this life or the next. To have autonomous individuals that also foster harmony we first have to get game theory decentralized in the minds of our youth. I propose Game Theory be a required class every year for all 4 years of high school, for all students. Make their lens of everything filter through Game Theory. Game Theory will lead the net of them to good social behavior. It will give them the tools to suppress impulsive behaviors that reduce trust in cooperation. This will reinforce the American individualistic identity while giving the ecosystem the social norms required to sustain it in the absence of paternal centralization. Once achieved, we can look forward to accelerating science and innovation in ways humanity never imagined possible.

What Comes Next: We laid the foundation through Game Theory to engage in science without neutering our rugged, aggressive, sometimes violent, confrontational selves. This connection is made because we replaced Paternal and Maternal mechanism for social order with autonomous game theoretically educated people. We can embrace every aspect of technology and science without safe spaces, second-place trophies, stupid looking nose-punched dorky cars, and hipster micro-houses with the shelves stocked with kombucha: because we want both science, energy efficiency, and the adrenaline, untempered, desire for fusion nuclear powered jet engine flying cars with the risks that come with personal responsibility before the benefits of engineered harmony.

Learning by memetics is suboptimal for individualism and creativity. The punishment of people relies on in-group reward punishment and cult-like values clustering. The reason people in SF believe in certain values uniquely is not because of their agency or self-awareness, not because of enlightenment. People strongly believe in the things they do because of no awareness of their own. They are simply engaging in beliefs subconsciously that benefit their ability to capture resources and thrive in society. They are being led this way by a strong Paternal/Maternal culture that punishes their ability to make income if they do not. This is suboptimal. This is also values acquisition by way of memetics, which is learning by mirroring others, rather than bottom-up logical reasoning. A society like this can go but only so far so fast. We have to go faster, so I propose a change. That change is game-theory identity. We make our identity our competence in game theory. Game theory will drive Americans into cooperation with each other while reducing their trust in the International System. They will tighten their cohesion nationally as a result of it.

The International System is one of anarchy. See Kenneth Waltz on the Post-Cold War world. See Lets take China and the US for example. No repeated game will work. The US changes leaders as often as every 4 years. This makes Chinese leaders concerned that the US cannot be trusted to honor any agreements that require decades to execute. See the lessons Chinese leaders learned from the Clinton-Bush mishap with North Korea and Light Water Reactors (LWR). The next president can simply reverse any such agreement. And from the US perspective Chinese people have been psychologically damaged by decades of living in a society where authenticity and freedom of thought can put them in a prison, a way of living they are born into from whom and die by at tomb. They are different because of this on the mean of the distribution. Outliers exist, but they don't move the world. Outliers get run over by the world. The peg that sticks up gets hammered, or they move to the USA.

This brings us to the American Identity. We are aggressive, fearless, pioneers that place many things before personal safety, life, and longevity. Self-reliance is not a buzz term for conservatives. It simply reflects a people raised with the self-confidence and awareness to be trusted to make good choices left to their own devices. This is what we must optimize for in our institutions and education system. We are not for the timid. We are not those who fear confrontation; we do not have an obsession with engineered and regulated harmony; No. That is not us.

We are Americans. We believe in the price of scars, loss, and pain in exchange for organic refinement of our civilization over generations, and over lives. Aversion to confrontation comes not from more education, or lack of, but a lack of game theoretic overlay into our thoughts and social tools. If we fear confrontation, danger, and the risk free of harmony, we may not be self-actualized despite finishing that advanced degree building that thing everyone uses, or selling that company in an exit, or completing that PhD. A calculator is valuable, but is it able to deal with complex people? Not exactly. Let us not confuse computational value to humanity with intelligence, assuming we redefine intelligence to greater command of our own awareness and mind, of our behaviors that make us good game theory participants.

We are the men and women in the wild that cannot be tamed, and proud: the "man in the arena." Americans are the Man in the Arena for humanity, and everyone is judging and watching. Let them watch. Let them judge. But we not let them steal or innovations. We will not let them wield power over us. We not let their voices matter where they are negative, envious, or without their own self-esteem.

We are here to use our power to empower those not yet self-actualized enough to stop holding onto what is around them out of fear of what lies ahead in the dark. The dark void that is the universe is beautiful. I like the dark. Darkness means its a canvass for us to paint with light. Having something to create in the dark of the universe is an extraordinary gift for humanity to seize.

We must never use the lure of our power, wealth, and organically-arrived enlightenment to ask others to share our values for access to it. We do not coerce. We do not judge the man in the arena. That is not the American way. We are spartans, not fragile followers looking for paternal or maternal leaders to guide us. That is pathetic, and that is not us. Be weary of the man or woman who wants to be that paternal or maternal leader of your community, of your tribe. They are the end of all that is good. Instead believe in the leader who is empowering others to be autonomous and make decisions because game theory guides them to good decisions, good choices, including the value of community being a game theoretic one. We are not afraid of danger, of darkness, of death.

We are the Romulans of the Star Trek universe, and not the Federation: intelligent, dangerous, and aggressive. We are the Mandarlorians of the Star Wars universe: dangerous, smart, and collective identity organized but not paternal or maternal.

Our future must not be one of who we are, emo, conservative, liberal, trans, or other, and more of where we are going. When I meet people and they tell me who they are by an identity, I always ask them where they are going, because that to me is who you are. I ask them, "What are you building, where are you going, what will you accomplish bigger than you and how you see yourself?" I ask them, "What is your rocket to the moon you will make, lake you will clean up, ocean you will sail, genre of music you will create, Olympic sport you will dominate?"

We are the over achiever with our eyes on the horizon and not our neighbors nicer cars, social trends, or Instagram followers, and all of these small minded identity-insecurity seeking distractions. The key to overcoming all our challenges comes down to placing our eyes firmly on the horizon, to elevate the pioneers and mute the complacent and risk averse. We must put our dreams in a vacuum beyond the human condition that is here now: in exchange for something far more overwhelming than what an egalitarian communist can offer: the thrill of the adventure of tomorrow.

Let us become the the indefatigable American individualist who hops on his or her raging, loud, dangerous, fusion powered flying bike with their unlicensed AR-15 laser rifle as they zoom to the launch pad where they take off to go the moon to mine for minerals, or to the flying hotel on the clouds of Venus for a vacation.

We place our trust in personal responsibility, adventure, and risk before the preservation of life. We are pioneers. We are Mandalorians. We are Spartans. Above all, we are Americans.
