Summary
Research the "Hunter-Farmer Hypothesis"
The mere fact that The last D in ADHD stands for Disorder highlights the power asymmetry the Farmer possess in our world. We could highlight another disorder, and that is what can found in being neurotypical, normie, or normal as defined by a Farmer, and not a Hunter. This graphic represents the personality disorder traits of being normal as defined by a Hunter.

Normal means the mean behavior. The reason the Farmer's behavior is mean is simply because historically speaking they made more babies and so they crowded out the statistics.
There is nothing moral, normal, or non-disorder, about it in origin. The apprehension they display towards ideas that challenge everything they believe is the disorder itself. That is the nature of a Farmer. They seek to preserve narrative routine because that is how they are genetically predisposed as a Farmer. They are the enforcers of behavior, the Farmer.
I. Disclaimer
First, I ask the reader of this to imagine they are a high decoupler and can explore any topic without thinking about how it makes them feel, or what it could mean for the world: to place an idea in a vacuum with no connection to the person writing it, or to you. Imagine you are a computer program taking in data with no sentience.
Second, take this essay as a series of exploratory hypothesis written with a high conviction because of the nature of this author's ADHD, and that also comes with no emotional attachment to the ideas I present, and read to change them 10x over in a day: comfortable with the mental labor inherent with rapid firing through so many ideas as they have no connection to who I am and what grounds me.
Third, Remember that hypothesis do not require evidence or proof; they are coherent logically framed arguments that require further exploration without fear of the consequence of what they mean if proven: assuming the reader is a Farmer and not a narrative seeking Farmer with fear of the mental labor that comes from having to re-do everything we believe over and over.
Fourth, when I use the word "Farmer," I don't mean people that operate farms. Most actual living Farmers are Hunters. I intend to live on a ranch as my next move. When I say Farmer, I am talking about those without the DRD4-7r Allele (the Hunter gene); Farmers are those who evolved from the genes of those who seek routine, boredom, social hierarchy, social order, routine security, and meritocracy defined by those traits.
II. Foundation
I came across this book. I did some digging. I am mind blown.

Someone who first did an internship at CERN as a teenager turned me onto it. When we first began talking he was talking so fast about so many deep topics.
I fell in love with our conversation, his personality, his rate of thought. It was like finding a 4th dimension that I finally could communicate with at a rate of fire I enjoyed, and with compassion that this person is not from this Earth, yet so much more than it. I adored their mind, and while I doubt their co-workers are too excited about them. After all, he probably destroys their self-esteem and routine on an hourly basis.
When I ever I meet someone who demonstrates a hyper fast mind by dint of ADHD I see their potential to solve the world's problems should they be allowed to express themselves as the smartest person in the room who without insecurity in the way we must follow. Most Farmers are too busy worrying about their place in the group to let them lead them. Farmers are egalitarian. Hunters are pack leaders, not collective workers. They cannot be because of their genes. They are discriminated for it. I even suspect we have a high incarceration rate in the US because of how we treat Hunters in a world of slower, routine seeking, Farmers.
You can spot someone who evolved with the Hunter gene because they jump to 10 topics in 10 minutes with curiosity. They are impatient, as a Hunter in the Jungle struggling to stay alive would be. They would be hyper situationally aware, alert, and anxious to move. They are engineered to perfection. They are not a disorder. They are beautiful. The rule-making, routine seeking, orderly ultra-safe nanny state Farmers are the disorder.
ADHD = DRD4-7r allele = Hunter Gene
III. Defining "Hunter"
A "Hunter" as defined in this essay does not mean someone who hunts or farms. Many actual life Farmers are genetically evolved from hunters. Farming is a career, not a person. The use of the word Farmer and hunter in this essay more has to do with personality types, genetic deviations, and little to do with career choices, killing or not killing animals. Those who cannot naturally do should not be included in key positions of power or opportunity as a policy objective itself that is scaled to everyone. We can make exceptions, but such over-compensation to give a shot at power to the mediocre, law abiding Farmer, must not occur
IV. Reframing Merit By a Hunter's Rules
ADHD is not a disorder. It is a handicap only when those with it have to follow the social system of the Farmers that write the rules. Should the world be dominated by rapid fire thinkers that can handle massive complexity across many thoughts in a short period of time, the thought patterns and behavior of the then less equipped Farmer (non ADHD) would be perceived as the disorder. Even a Farmer, or a routine seeker, would have a hard time to process this very paragraph itself, because to them their routine seeking minds don't typically indulge in such turn-everything-upside down questions.
What if our education system indulges in now suspense, and instead were designed for those who cannot wait for more than 15 minutes for the teach to lay the guts of the topic and the punch line with no explanation in between. And then, we have to work backwards efficiently to fill in the gaps to understand the punch line and with no narrative or story telling. This is how a Hunter operates, someone with ADHD, or the DRD47r Allele in genetics.
IQ is the best measure empirically of our ability to succeed in a "Farmer''s" world. That much is true, but what if we did not live in a Farmer's world. What if the education system was designed for the Hunter. The Hunter would remain engaged, stimulated, amassing knowledge, and the Farmer would fall behind and probably develop a lower IQ. The Farmers have power and oppress the Hunter. That is evident. It is institutionalized.
Hunters are always alert, managing complexity and never hanging on to narratives or the past. In the work place they hate routine, doing things because that is others do, and hate going home at 5 because then the stimulation of overwhelming challenge comes to an end. They seek to run into stress, while Farmers seek to minimize it. They are a threat to the very life of the Farmer, and yet Farmers are in power. The Farmers outnumber the Hunters. Hunters need a strategy to regain the center of power in the world and take the Farmers down a world with more and more risk instead.
Perhaps then we would have a lower incarceration rate with a more stimulated youth, and less drug addiction. Hunters are bored because Farmers are boring and running everything. They seek a sanitized, more stable, less risky, world. From the LA mayor maniac talking about not lifting shelter in place until we have a vaccine, to the Karen's of the world telling on everyone.
The Farmer writes the rules of morality right now in humanity; they out number Hunters with about 75% of the world population I suspect. They also come from an evolutionary path that resulted in making more babies. That is perhaps the only reason they write the rules for what kind of society we live in: whether is more like Sparta or more like some1970s safe space, don't rock the boat, wait your turn, nightmare.
VI. Way Forward
Perhaps we need a new education system that benefits the Hunters and that gets to the point in the first 5 minutes of class in rapid succession with no slow build up. Perhaps our struggle with each other is thousands of years old, and because historically Farmers made more babies they are now the ruling class of lethargic routine followers.
Instead of permitting the world of "Farmers" to discriminate against the "Hunters" by designing a system that is challenging for them the Hunter to thrive, perhaps hunters need to come together and overthrow the Farmers from power all together, and make Farmers uncomfortable to live in a Hunter's world.
Perhaps Hunters need to make each other aware they are Hunters so they can find empowerment in this new identity.
